The team

Three people, and you can have all their addresses.

Most plugin companies put a stock photograph of a boardroom on this page. Ours exists so you know who picks up — because “the engineer who wrote the code answers your email” is only worth saying if we are willing to name them.

Vinod DoshiCEO & engineer

Chief executive, and still an engineer. Twenty years across software engineering, quality engineering, cloud, DevOps, automation and AI — at Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Symantec, Zillow, Alcon, Vertex and Thryv. Founded and scaled a 40-person technology company serving clients across the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and India.

Vivek P.CPIO & engineer

Chief product and innovation officer, and still an engineer. A serial entrepreneur who has built businesses in farming, shipping and policy — three industries where the software was never the hardest part. Hands-on with hardware as well as interfaces, which keeps the roadmap honest about what a real counter, a real queue and a real pair of hands can actually do.

Rama VaradarajanCTO & engineer

Chief technology officer, and still an engineer. Two decades across frontend engineering, UI/UX, mobile, cloud platforms and AI-enabled products — React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node and Figma. He owns the architecture and what actually ships. He has led multidisciplinary teams from prototype through to delivery, and he is the one who says no to a screen that needs explaining.

In full

Who they are.

Vinod DoshiCEO & engineer

Chief executive, and still an engineer. A technology leader and entrepreneur with over twenty years in software engineering, quality engineering, cloud, DevOps, automation and AI. He has worked with Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Symantec, Zillow, Alcon, Vertex and Thryv.

As founder and CEO of a 40-person technology company, he delivered for clients across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and India — which is where the 670-plus projects and fifteen countries on this site come from.

He now works on getting organisations to adopt AI, automation and modern engineering practices without the theatre. Sokocode is the first time that has been pointed at a product rather than a client.

Vivek P.CPIO & engineer

Chief product and innovation officer, and still an engineer. A serial entrepreneur who has started and run businesses across farming, shipping and public policy, and who now owns product direction, UX strategy and what gets built next.

Those three industries have one thing in common: the software was never the hardest part. The hard part was the week the business actually has — the crop that will not wait, the container that is late, the rule that changes in April. That is the lens the roadmap gets held up against.

He is hands-on with hardware as much as with interfaces — the habit of building a thing you can hold is what keeps a roadmap honest about what a real counter, a real queue and a real pair of hands can do.

On this product it shows up as the refusals: no symptom triage, no settings toggle where the data already knows, and no feature that demonstrates well and helps nobody.

Rama VaradarajanCTO & engineer

Chief technology officer, and still an engineer. A technology and creative leader with nearly two decades across frontend engineering, UI/UX, mobile applications, cloud platforms, AI-enabled solutions and digital product design.

React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, mobile-first development, cloud architectures, Figma and the Adobe suite — brought together with design thinking and user research to build products that are intuitive and commercially effective rather than merely feature-complete.

He has led multidisciplinary work from product strategy and prototyping through to frontend delivery, turning business requirements into web, mobile and AI-powered experiences. On this product that shows up as the rule that a feature is implied by your data, never by a settings toggle.

Why so few

Small is the feature, not the apology.

There is no tier one

Because there is no tier two. Your message reaches somebody who can change the code the same afternoon, and that is only possible while we are this size.

It cuts both ways

A support department of dozens has somebody awake at 3am and a hundred thousand customers who hit the bug before you did. We have neither. That is on the honest list too.

Hiring changes the promise

When somebody joins, this page changes and the service levels change with it. What will not change is that the person replying can read the source.
